The White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh offers a stunning alternative to conventional wedding and reception venues and is licensed to hold civil ceremonies. For a smaller wedding reception, Thorpeness Hotel (also in Suffolk) can accommodate up to 80 guests in its restaurant or 45 in the Lakeside Room.
