As part of Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival 2014
A very special collaboration of two well known names on the Suffolk food & drink scene.
Our head chef, Ben Hegarty, has worked with Jonathan Simper of Simpers to create a local fish and shellfish menu, which has been matched with Adnams beers and ales.
We will be joined on the evening by Jonathan Simper and Fergus Fitzgerald the head brewer from Adnams who will talk us through the experience and their life working in Suffolk.

Adnams & Simpers Dinner Menu
Sole Bay 10% ABV
Hazy gold in colour with a good carbonation, this beer has aromas and flavours of honey, bread, bananas, pear drops, and bubble-gum with a warming, luscious finish.
Assiette of Seafood, crab rillette , smoked salmon mousse, pan fried scallop, bread capers, parsley & lemon salt.
Benediktiner Weissbier 5.4% ABV
This amber coloured wheat beer has light fruity flavour, balanced, hoppy bitterness and traditional Weissbeer flavours of clove and bananas.
Pan fried halibut, braised baby gem, squash puree, pomme anna potatoes, mussel chowder.
Dry Hopped Lager 4.2% ABV
This lager is light, crisp and refreshing with subtle malty flavours and a super hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and passion fruit.
Deconstructed blackberry cheese cake, blackberry sorbet.
Tally Ho 7% ABV
Tally Ho is a limited edition barley wine with a heart-warming, rich aroma and raisin and biscuit flavours.
