Our reputation for great food
Patrick, our Head Chef has worked in Aldeburgh for several years and brings with him great experience and enthusiasm. He has well established connections with local suppliers, such as Dean Fryer, who sells his fish on the beach opposite the hotel.
Patrick's menus are fresh and inspired, using produce sourced from the land and sea close to Aldeburgh. Fish and seafood are both specialities of course, as well as traditional favourites such as braised oxtail or devilled lambs kidneys.
Our newly refurbished AA rosette restaurant is light and airy, with oak panelling, a warm ambiance and a roaring log fire whilst our popular Bar, which overlooks the beach, is relaxed and informal and served a fantastic selection of local ales.
Sunday Roast
Sunday just wouldn't be Sunday without a succulent roast or a traditional afternoon tea.
The marriage of the traditional with the contemporary makes this seaside hotel the perfect place in which to enjoy these great British institutions.
