Half term is just around the corner and with the warmer weather coming, why not come and stay on the Suffolk coast for a few days and make the most of the fresh sea air.

Our cosy, family friendly hotel is situated right on the seafront in Aldeburgh, with some of our rooms boasting stunning, far-reaching sea views.

Family rooms are available in our coastal hotel and our Brasserie Bleue restaurant is child friendly and features a kids menu.

Find the best rate and book your half term stay here or call 01728 452720.

If you book with our Fabulous February package, we will welcome you with a delicious afternoon treat of hot chocolate and freshly made Madeleines for dipping, plus your getaway will include dinner in our Brasserie Bleue and a full Suffolk breakfast the following morning to set you all up for the day.

So what is there to do on the Suffolk coast?

Aldeburgh beach
There is of course Aldeburgh’s sand and single beach and there is plenty to explore on and around the beach. As you stroll along, there are a number of quirky historic buildings including the Martello Tower, the 400 year old Moot Hall and a converted windmill.

Just a stone’s throw from our hotel as you head towards the village of Thorpeness, there is Maggi Hambling’s famous Scallop sculpture, which you are welcome to sit, climb and take lots of pictures on. See more of Aldeburgh beach here

Framlingham Castle
Framlingham Castle is just 15 miles away and has become even more popular recently, following Ed Sheeran’s new song, Castle on the Hill, inspired by his hometown and childhood in Framlingham.

During the school holidays, the castle is inviting youngsters to polish off their armour and dust their tiaras to learn the tools of the trade and become a knight or princess for the day. To find out more click here

Easton Farm Park and Jimmys Farm

If you’re an animal lover, there are plenty of animal parks around including Easton Farm Park and Jimmy’s Farm.

Easton Park is running a half price offer for admission during half term and children are bound to love cuddling some of the smaller farm animals, as well as enjoying pony and train rides. Find out more about Easton Farm Park here

Jimmy’s Farm has plenty of farm animals for you to meet and feed, as well as children’s play areas, a woodland walk and their popular restaurant. Read more about Jimmy’s Farm here

Southwold Pier
You can’t go wrong with a Punch and Judy show on the seafront can you? The famous duo are returning to Southwold Pier during half term to entertain people of all ages. See what else is on in Southwold here

Aldeburgh Cinema
Aldeburgh Cinema is just a few minutes walk from the hotel and shows a variety of films, including the new animated film, Sing. You can see the full list of showings here

Africa Alive
Not too far away is also Africa Alive in Kessingland where you can explore the sights and sounds of Africa, including lions, giraffes and meerkats – and kids go free in half term. Book your tickets here
