White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh
The Best Western White Lion is a traditional, privately owned hotel, offering the highest standards of hospitality, service and value for money, without compromising on quality.
Situated opposite Aldeburgh's shingle beach, where fresh fish is sold from wooden huts which line the shore, its 38 bedrooms are cosy and inviting, some with sea views as far as the eye can see.
Guests have the choice of dining in the informal beach-facing Bar or the newly refurbished oak-panelled Restaurant.
The Bar is well stocked with a variety of real ales and an interesting selection of quality wines, designed to complement a variety of meals and occasions.Hampers can also be arranged during the August proms.
Head chef
Head Chef, Patrick Neal, creates delicious menus inspired by the wealth of fantastic fresh Suffolk produce so readily available in our region.
Pat has well established connections with local suppliers, such as Dean Fryer, who sells his fish on the beach opposite the hotel. He has a real passion for delivering excellent quality food and is totally committed to getting the very best ingredients available.
